Building hope in Smyrna
Almost 30 years ago, caring members of our community created a small non-profit to address the needs of the uninsured in Rutherford County, Tennessee. At one point there were five employees of the Primary Care & Hope Clinic.
Today, PC&HC has over 100 employees working at four facilities in Rutherford and Bedford Counties in Middle Tennessee.
In 2007, the community again came together to help PC&HC build a facility that would allow for significant growth in the number of patients served and in the types of service provided.
The next year, PC&HC successfully moved into the 27,000 square foot building we currently occupy on Hope Way in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
We are now in the midst of another capital campaign. This time, we are trying to duplicate the success of our Hope Way construction by building a similar facility in Smyrna, Tennessee.
There is a tremendous need in Smyrna, and our ability to meet those needs is hampered by the size of our leased office space. This exciting project will allow for more patients to receive the important services we provide.
The new facility will accommodate more providers, a behavioral health department, a full pharmacy, nutrition services, and more.
